Hi, I'm the thread starter.
We just upgraded our 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 19BH to a 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH.
Our Jayco 19BH got hail damaged, as well as my trucks Extang Solid Fold, but I'm done with that cover. New replacement is also falling apart .
So it was in our best interest to just upgrade to a larger trailer instead of fixing the 19BH. Actually the 26BH is the same floorplan with a front queen bed and a host of luxury items.
The Jay Flight model has gone through changes every year from being a standard model, to a budget model, to a luxury model through the years. For 2012, they have blended the luxury G2 Jay Flight with the standard model Jay Flight and came to a decent middle of the road as far as lux features and price goes. In fact, the 2012 26BH seems to have the best pricing in years only being about $700 more than what a 2009 would had cost.
So we gained quite a bit in lux as a step light, bright decorative dinette globe lamp, sky light over tub, decoractive wall papers, 90 gallon fresh water capacity, porcelin toilet, ducted central air, 26" HiDef TV and DVD system w/outdoor speakers, and several others things. So we are really happy.
Picked it up last weekend but unforunately got Pneumonia as well as 3 out of 4 in our family. We're doing better so I thought I should update the thread.
We just love it and how open it is. It's the 19BH we had with luxury items added and a front bedroom. Everything is upgraded from the cabinets, sofa, lighting to the extra large outside door grab handle and exterior speakers.

I'll add we didn't want to go with a slide model like the 28BHS because they didn't improve the walking area or living area with their smaller slides and were actually more closed in feeling. We like a more open floorplan.
We didn't go with a Super Slide model like the Jay Flight 25BHS or Jay Flight Swift 267BH because their loaded hitch weights would be really to heavy for the trucks payload and axle ratings (when family and gear added), and the extra cost was about 50% more than what this model was.
We love the sofa away from the dinette, creating a separate living room area that looks directly towards the entertainment center for no stiff necks.

Nice looking rig....
The wife and I looked at that very floor plan (minus the bunks..it was 22 or 23 ft long I believe) when we were shopping around not long ago. We really liked it. Having the sofa as sort of a divider for the front bedroom is pretty nice. It seemed like a very well built TT. In the end however we opted for a 21 ft toyhauler (Forest River Shockwave) to fit our needs better. We are still waiting for it to arrive however. Going crazy during this several month wait!
Nice trailer!

Was hoping for 9+ but wasn't expecting it. The little ecoboost really pulls strong though. Amazing how stable of a platform these new f-150s provide for towing. Got a trip to cedar point coming up next weekend from buffalo, will report back.
Totally pleased with these results and continue to be amazed at how great of a tow vehicle this truck really is.

Yesterday I returned from a 1980 km, nine day trip. My first real tow with my F150 and really my first real tow other than an 18 wheeler.
I can now actually say I love my truck! The relatively effortless performance both accelerating and slowing had me feeling relaxed.
The mileage sucked. I got 30 L /100 km most of my trip up north from Calgary to Peace River thanks to strong headwinds for the last 700 km of the journey. It averaged out to 25 L /100 km by the time I was home.
The GCWR was about 12500 lb but the trailer is like a sail at 10.5' high.
The EB actually sounds pretty good... when aggressively accelerating up a 5 degree slope in third gear.
Anyway this thread is about pics.
The first pic shows a quick stop in Whitecourt, AB on Friday, at the leading edge of a blizzard. There were a few AWD SUVs squirming about in the ditch 10 minutes later. We were firmly planted.
Second is getting hitched up and ready to leave the campsite in Gibbons, AB on Sunday morning. Nice people there but it never got warmer than +2.
Third is at the Flying J in Red Deer on Sunday afternoon.
Fourth is my pitiful mileage (metrage?).
Fifth is a pic of the day I brought the trailer home, with my Dakota. Just to raise some eyebrows.
Some have expressed interest in interior shots. I like seeing them so here are mine: The interior pics are from the dealer website when I bought the trailer last fall.
Good to see this thread back on target! Keep it alive!
