I use ultra gauge depending on RPM load and speed...... 65mph no wind on the flat.... No boost pressure. My truck VE is 77-80........ I have seen it go as high as 85 if under a load with boost pressure.
I found this web site recently that compares the EcoBoost to the 5.0. It is a good read for anyone that hasn't made up their mind as to which motor they want in their truck.

I prefer low end torque low RPM. It just might last longer IMO.

I have two daughters, #1 refers to Morgan in the picture being our first born. Thankfully neither our two year old or the the 4 month old read this forum so I am in the clear... back to the trucks ladies....
