Kayak Truck Bed Hitch Receiver
Good Afternoon-
I was hoping I might be able to get some suggestions/insight on a Pick-up truck bed hitch extender for my kayak.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on any brand? I want it obviously to be durable, and a reputable hitch extender as well.
Thank you so much in advance!

I bought a Reese Towpower Canoe Loader thing it would be good for either a canoe or a kayak. It's not useful for hauling a kayak. The kayak hull is too contoured to sit on the cross bar.
I would expect you'd have the same challenges with bed extenders.
Right now I throw my 12 foot kayak in the back, leave the gate down. Put an extra wide 18" foam kayak block between the gate and the kayak. I do one ratchet strap across the top of the kayak to cinch it to the bed. And then one strap from the bow to each side to of the bed. The kayak isn't going anywhere but it limits what you can load in the bed.
I'm still searching for a good solution to have full access to the bed while transporting the kayak.
