No, not a lie. The dry weight is as it leaves the factory which excludes:
Propane tank(s)
Battery
Awning
WDH
Any other aftermarket accessories not installed by the factory.
All the gear that you would normally carry in the trailer, e.g. Kitchen ware, bathroom stuff, BBQ grill, toys, hoses, tools, accessories, etc.
You'd be surprised at how quickly it all adds up.
