Default homemade slide in brackets..

i cant be the only cheapskate ...lol
took a design..and made some changes...still needs some work..
for the slide in camper i recently bought..the box liner needs to comeout and a spray in is gonna replace it..
the idea came from this..

its only paint....lol
they got blasted and epoxy primed.

Are these F150 beds stout enough to hold a camper like that? I do like your cheapskate ways though.

I purchased heavy duty frame mounted brackets from Torklift International on Amazon.com. They were about 20-25% less than what a camper dealer wanted for the same product. Thats how I saved money.
For my own piece of mind, it was worth the extra money to have it fastened to my frame. Ive seen howmuch flex the truck bed has in it when the tailgate isnt shut. I wouldnt want to tweak that nice new truck body, in my opinion. I can post pics later if you wanted

i looked at the torklift system first, was like 7-800 with shipping...yes its cheaper than a twisted bed..lol...
