Helper bags Question ???
I have a 2015 Crew cab with the 3.5 ecoboost. My truck is lowered with a DJM 3/6 kit and have helper bags from Air-Lift (slam air kit ) that I plan to install this weekend. My boat is a 30' Challenger Offshore and isn't the lightest boat out there lol. I have plenty of power thanks to MPT and the boat has trailer brakes but my concern is if the slam air kit is going to be enough to support the weight of my boat. Anybody have any input about those bags ? Thank you !

I have helper bags on the back of my '04 F150. They help out a lot. You're 3.5L should be plenty enough to tow your boat. I pull a '28 ft Bayliner. I know it's back there, but the air bags help a lot with leveling, ride, and control.

Just my two cents worth.

Remember, as long as you are inflating the bags so that the truck goes back up to the same height as it was before you hooked up the trailer, the bags are only supporting the weight of the trailer, not the truck. The leafs still contribute quite a bit. If your trailer has a >2000 lb tongue weight then your gunna have other issues.
