Flat Towing Behind Motorhome
#12
I've never been able to understand this. Spend all that money on an RV and then bumper pull a vehicle behind it. Spend a few thousand dollars on a trailer. Outside of the little time you spend loading and unloading in every other way it will be far nicer to tow, manuverable, and easier on your car/truck. Not trying to knock it really, just can't wrap my head around bumper towing on long hauls. I can fully understand and see it being very handy on short trips and such as many farmers do with an S10, ranger, or even many full size pickups but they are also not going fast and the weight ratio sounds a lot safer for not having brakes.

Only advantages I can see is: The ability to back up. Car is higher, less rock chips.. I for one will keep flat towing with proper setup.
