I understand the argument of not overloading your truck. It's not like I'm condoning it all the time but the once and a while I do I not gamma worry about it. If it were every day or every week it would be different.

I am with you. It is not like you add 2,000 lb. capacity to your load rating and expect to carry two tons! Duh! But like an equalizer hitch, it shifts the load to the front to balance things out!
