Default Firestone AirBags Great Deal!!!!!

I found a great deal on the Firestone Airbag kit #2525 at SDTrucksprings.com
when you check out you enter in coupon code "FIRE20" and they are $293.16 total with free shipping.
This is by far the cheapest price anywhere, my buddy is even a vendor and this price beats him by $40 bucks.

Just thought I would pass this info on for anyone else interested.

I did order my set on this deal, by the way tonite.

Good Luck guys.

For the unaware, just remember that these air bags do NOTHING to change the payload capacity or towing capacity of your truck.

I ordered mine today for my new 13 Platinum with max tow package.

I had them and 5100 Bilsteins all around on my old tow truck (Tacoma 4x4) and liked them.

What do you base this observation on?

That be the yellow sticker on the door.
The air bag kit does not come with a new certification for the truck.

Really? The yellow sticker would be the weight guide for stock configuration. Air bags and overload springs are weight rated by their manufacturer. Has anyone ever been checked to see if their load does not exceed their yellow sticker?

Air Bags help stiffen the rear springs. They do nothing to strengthen the frame, the axles, the brakes. They do nothing to help with engine and tranny cooling. Your truck's GVWR and GCWR are based on the whole truck, not just the rear springs.

Bags only help with the ride making things a little more comfortable and perhaps help with leveling. They have nothing to do with weight capacity.

So you are telling me that the load rating capacity on tires are useless too? Then I would have to wonder why they grade them A,B,C,D,E, etc. they could offer just one? Do yourself a favor and look under a 3/4 ton vs a 1 ton. Same frame, same axles, same brakes, more springs under the 1 ton!

The weight police on here crack me up! You grow up, get a pick-up, the next thing you know you are all experts!
