Angry F150 Towing 26'Trailer

Having major problems in tow mode pulling trailer. When banking trailer into left turn in 3rd gear truck looses steering and no engine power and it feels like the abs is taking over the braking in the front end.No control of truck until it you take your foot off the brake and apply fuel to the engine.comes Feels like truck and trailer are going into a right skid. I have sway bars on the trailer, scan at dealership show no problems, brakes fine on truck and trailer. Any help appreciated .

I can't solve your problem, but more information about your truck would be required by anyone who might be able to assist.
What year? What model? Etc.
Wonder if your cable for emergency trailer brakes is in a bind or something along those lines. That's a strange and scary issue.

Don't be hasty getting rid of your truck. You need to find out what is happening. My bet is that it is NOT the truck.

2009 F150 Ford, towing issues, could it be a ABS???? Does it when not towing but not as bad, right turn can feel it briefly on drivers side has only happened a couple of times, but when towing happens often in right turns and sometimes in left turn. If I keep my foot on the gas it's not as bad. If I brake in a turn i will lose control an truck and trailer will skid sideways.

sounds like your trailer brakes are set too lite and it is pushing your truck, adjust the setting a little higher .

I'm no expert, but sounds like your trailer is pushing your *** end around.

Set the braking level higher, brake earlier, corner slower are all good ideas.

Tried the higher level braking on trailer, doesn't make a difference. Maybe time to replace front brake pads, could be a loose wire connection for the ABS. Sensor could be going or may be the problem. Thanks for all your help. Wife refuses to go RVing until it's fixed. Don't blame her.

are you sure the brakes are adjusted/working on the trailer...my 2011 28bh had one broke wire-killed brakes to the right side on both axles.. I knew something was up as I had to turn the controller up to 10 and left side was hot-not locking.. right side cold....
so I had 2 problems....misadjustment and electrical problem..
