Ok, so I have a new 8.5' x 30' long trailer I cant see around, people say the $50 clip on mirrors still wont gain me much. These look like the best option but after reading through 35 pages of posts I still cant tell if these are direct replacements or has anyone actually used them????

I have a 13' FX4, has power fold, dim, signals, heat all that crap and want basically whats on the max tow, and HAVE to have power fold especially getting these wider mirrors. I dont care about power telescope.

So basically I buy these: http://www.1aauto.com/2007-13-ford-f...=867979&y=2013

and I'm good to go????? Just plug and play it looks like? Anyone order these already??

I'm not too much of fan of the smoke signal but whatever, I need to pull the trigger on these soon.

Yes those are what you need. I bought the same ones but without the memory feature. My XLT is going to require a bit of wiring with a kit that 1A is sending me (XLT does not factory power fold with the max tow mirrors). They will make a huge difference in your side to side vision. I think your link is an older link because that model is now $509 and out of stock.

I saw the $509 ones and after reading the description of those they are for trucks that do not have power fold switch stock was the only difference I noticed.

So are there only one bulb in the side marker light? My work truck (superduty) has two, marker lights and turn signal. The instructions for these mirrors say you have to choose one or the other.

I was confused by that as well but when I plugged up mine there are two bulbs and they worked with no wiring needed at all. You have turn lights and running lights.

Ok people her are mine installed,it was pretty easy there was a instructional video on you tube, everything works great, power adjust, power fold will not be able to check the heated feature until winter, there are two marker lights on the mirror one for turn signal and one for running lights,as you can see the tinted lens is not that tinted, it was plug and play for me no wiring required

I think you both may have confused the puddle light with parking light. They do overlap in features, but as far as I have seen on my truck (2012) using the factory wiring will give you directional on the top bulb and puddle features on the bottom bulb but no parking lamp.

You can check by putting down your window, closing the door and waiting for all lights to go off... Then reach in and turn on your parking lamps or headlights.

My money says you won't see this without doing some wiring.
