Default F150 towing concerns ..need help..

Here is some specs.. I'm getting a Equalizer WDH , not sure the size 10-12000#? Looking at the numbers should there be a concern, 600# of payload will be added to the truck.. Right now with no WDH it has 4 \" squart but level and sways..hoping the hitch will fix that, bottom line is that I don't know enough about hauling with a F150 coming from a 250 that was more compatible. Thanks for any help you can give.

Not sure what your payload capacity is (you didn't photo the payload/cargo capacity sticker), but at that dry weight alone, tongue weight will be 671-774lbs. Realistically your trailer weight, loaded, will be closer to 6500lbs, with a tongue weight with WDH of 845-975lbs.

The 1200lb bars will be fine.

Of course you get squat without a WDH...this is a light-duty truck.

by the way, factory hitch requires WDH above 500lbs tongue weight. (see sticker under the hitch).

You should be fine with that diesel motor. Your trailer won't weigh more than 7000 loaded per the sticker unless you like driving around with the 3 tanks filled to the brim. Get the 1000/10000 equalizer you'll get better results, big is not always better. It matches up better with the load your trailering. Not surprised you had trouble with sway carrying that weight just on the bumper

Still need to know the truck's payload capacity. It will be on the door sticker with the tire pressures.

second picture is your GVWR.

there's another sticker in the door jamb that says "Cargo carrying capacity". That's your payload number.
