I am waiting on my F150 ECB with the max tow, short bed , 4x4, 3.7, super crew to arrive. Has anyone pulled a 5th wheel travel trailer with the ECB? I am looking at a 32ft TT 9000lbs with a 2000lb hitch weight. The factory rep for the trailer company says it will be fine. Asking the real world for assurance.

You would not see me doing anything fifth wheel in a F150. F250 is the minimum, a F350 Superduty would be much, much better. I have seen too many idiots come into my part of the world with 1/2 ton class trucks pulling fifth wheel trailers, even small ones, if they are lucky they will just pull the guts out of their truck and if real unlucky wind in a up a pile of wreckage hopefully not injured or dead. My minimum is the F350 with duel rear tires. The duel tires are as much a safety feature as a load bearing feature. Here is where the diesel comes into it's own. The 2012 6.7L powerstroke turbo diesel has 400hp and much more important 800fp of torque.

Instead get a nice popup camper. In my opinion the Alaskan Popup Camper it the best. Low profile when you need it going down the road and room when you crank it up.

My parents have a 32 ft doth wheel and a dodge 3500 with the 5.9 cummins, that camper is a load for It! I think your ECB would sit down and take a shlt if you hooked up to camper that size... Esp. If you go to go up a mountain!

Going up the hill is bad enough, it is going down the other side that is where you will wind up dead. You can fit a diesel with a compression brake which is very helpful.
