I was towing the trailer, about 7000 pounds, up big bear mountain. 0-7000'. I noticed the engine temp inched up and around 230 and showed the actual temp above it. Didn't know it could do that. It went up to about 237 but never gave any warnings. Still slightly above half mark. Should I be concerned?

It went away when it dropped do around 225.

Yes it can do that. Discussed several times.

Id like to know too I noticed if I manually shifted to 2nd it wouldn't boost as much and the temp came down.

What set up do you have? Max tow on the truck? I have only hit 213 towing
