I think what it boils down to is I want to take the trailer, she wants to do it quicker in the hotels. We will likely end up compromising and going in the flex.

for some reason that makes me think of a good joke but I just cant put it into words

anyway, happy wife, happy life!

3 weeks with a happy wife, or 3 weeks in a camper with a b***hy woman, the choice is easy!

either way it should be a great trip!

But if you're planning to travel NOW, then winter driving and camping must be considered.

I wouldn't camp through the Northern Rockies right now. But April/May and later would definitely.

Seems to me that trips like this are the exact reason one has a travel trailer to begin with. My wife would live in our TT if it was feasible so I know what would be happening if I was in your shoes

Money aside, you can't put a price tag on memories or the bonds you build with family on trips like this…

You keep using this "we" word. Do you have a mouse in your pocket?

In my marriage, "we" only make a decision if it isn't the popular one, and "I" only make a decision if it's the wrong one. "She" makes the right decisions

When has an RV ever been considered a cost saving device?
