Default Does my truck need to be lowered 4 plow?

Its a 99 f150...I just want to plow my driveway..I don't know how much its been lifted or how its been lifted..I just bought it...its sitting on 33's and there is roughly 8-10" of Clarence from the top of tire to the fender (so u can judge how lifted it is) does it need to be lowered to put a plow on? Or can I put a plow on with it lifted...I never thought it would be a problem..is it because the plow won't drop to the ground when lowered? Also roughly 15" from ground to lowest point on front bumper

The plow will drop far enough far enough. The issue becomes the angle the plow is sitting. If the angle is too much (vertical angle of the actual blade) the it will trip or flop over way too easily. Generally the plow mount can be lowered through a few methods, depending on the make and model, to get back to the correct angle.
