Do I have Towing Package or Not (2.7)

My mistake ....I always assumed it was a tranny cooler is the smaller radiator was in front of the larger radiator. And I didn't even know there is a power steering fluid cooler.

Just went to Etis and entered my VIN and printed off the readout of my truck. It has 3.55 gear..HD tow package , HD tranny cooler and a lot of other stuff I didn't realize my truck had. Great info here. Thanks

Ford's ETIS has errors, so don't count on it without verification. For my F-150 it says "Less Elect Locking Differential", but my F-150 definitely has the Electric Locking Differential.

Just an FYI the only truck that actually has hydraulic power steering (or a cooler for it) has the 6.2l engine, the rest of them have electronic power steering assist for the 11-14 trucks, not sure on the 15.

Thanks, seaeagle2, that's pretty cool. One strange thing happened when I put in my VIN, though. It told me I don't have the electronic locking differential, but my sticker and option packages say I do. Further, I have the applicable **** and pulling it sure makes it feel that I've locked the diff."

More likely included with the off road package on a 4x4.
I have the Off Road Package with the 3.73 Electric Locking Diff
etis doesn't list it but the off road package comes with factory skids and elod
Says
Heavy Duty Trailer Towing
Base Payload Package
???Super Engine Cooling Package???
Standard Transmission Oil Cooler
I had to add the Electric Brake Controller after the fact.

Yep, you're right. Most F-150s don't have a power steering fluid cooler because they have electric-assist power steerig.

Hello all! First post as I tripped over this thread trying to figure out the tow capacity of my left-over 2015 XLT. Looking through the owners manual they list a 'medium duty' tow package and basically say pretty much all the trucks are limited to 5100 lbs towing capacity without the 'heavy duty' or 'max tow' packages.
To make things even more confusing, I checked out some OEM ford parts websites to check out their drawings, and I could only find one transmission cooler listed for both the 2.7L and 3.5L ecoboost engines. They DO list two different front sway bars; one is $56 and lists medium duty tow package, and the other is $60 and says Trailer Tow max duty. I must confess it's rather confusing, as the same part number has two different prices for both the sway bars and the trans coolers. For the 2.7L, there was no 'heavy duty tow option' or anything like that listed (cooler was $47.27), while for the 3.5L only listed a heavy duty tow package (cooler was $47.27), and for the 5.0L there were three entries, one was $47.27, and the other two were $137.73.
So, I have the 302a options package, and the ETIS states I have the medium duty tow package. As best I figure, the only real difference between that and the $700 ford tow package is the front sway bar (since our trucks came with the class IV hitch, wiring, and it appears there's only one trans cooler to be had with the 2.7L ecoboost).
Those are my thoughts anyway...want to punch holes in them? I suppose if I ever need to tow up near the max (7600) I'll just see about getting a larger trans cooler and sway bar, and/or call it good. I've already added the ford brake controller as I haul around a race car but combined trailer and car probably barely crack 4k, so shouldn't be trouble any time soon.
In other news, I just went outside, and on my truck the trans fluid is routed through both the radiator and the little cooler in front of it... Should be plenty of cooling. If that's what's on a standard 2.7L, then the only thing you get for your extra $700 is a sway bar?
