Didnt know this cool feature

Don't remember reading about this in the manual, but found a cool feature today. On my 13 FX4 5.0 with tow package, when I have my camper power hooked to the truck, my parking lights in the truck automatically turn on.....truck keys need to be in the ignition but still...Good cross check. Thanks again Ford for trying to "me-proof" stuff!

Good question!
I have only towed with a 7-pin plug, and that's the one that gives me 5 blinks of the turn signals when I use the lane change feature.
I'll have to check out that parking light thingy next time I hook up.
To my knowledge the fuses are only to provide charging power to a battery if you have one in your trailer. I have a battery for the breakaway safety switch for the brakes, and another larger one for my winch and interior lights in the trailer.

I noticed that this weekend for the first time..... thought it was my imagination at first and tried it a few more times. You need the extra two blinks when towing.

Only get the extra blinks when towing with the 7 pin.Same with the onboard trailer tow tracker. Unless its more than a 4 pin the truck doesn't know its back there.
