Trailer 7000k. Weight 1730 lbs.
Case A trailer load 4075 lbs. Case B trailer load 3430 lbs. Been to dealer they knew less than I did.

I would think you would be fine. I pull an incredibly nose heavy 7k lbs trailer all the time no problem.

With a 10% tongue weight you would be well within range.

Can you pull it? Yes. Can you pull it without exceeding any of Ford's weight limits? Depends on the weight of people and stuff in the pickup, and on your properly loading the trailer to have not more than 15% tongue weight when wet and loaded on the road.


A properly-loaded 7,000-pound landscape trailer could have up to 1,050 pounds tongue weight. 7,350 GVWR of the pickup minus 1,050 pounds tongue weight leaves a max of 6,300 pounds your wet and loaded F-150 could weigh before you exceeded the GVWR of the F-150.


So yeah, you can pull that trailer without being overloaded but only if you limit what you haul in the truck. You can haul your crew, or you can drag your trailer, but probably not btoh at the same time without overloading the F-150.


And speaking of border collies, we have a sweetheart named Sugar, with excellent bloodlines - her sire lived "on the border" between England and Wales, where border collies originated. She loves to travel with us, whether RVing or Motel Sixing.

What's your payload? You say your at 1435 already and then the TW of trailer? going put you in the 2000# correct?
