Can someone tell me for sure which rear end I have?
My 2011 F150 5.0 (RWD) has an Axle Code 27 on the door jamb sticker, and Ive determined that to be 3.31 ratio open differential. Im wanting to upgrade to the Yukon 4.11 gears but they are for 9.75" rear ends only. How do I determine if my rear end is 9.75" ? Ive been googling this for 20 minutes and cant find a definite answer.

Look at your diff cover. If it's almost round with 10 bolts, then it's 8.8".
If it's shaped like the one below, and with 12 bolts, it's a 9.75".

Yep, that worked for me. It shows "With 9.75" Axle" for my VIN.
Getting registered for ETIS was intimidating because of all the fine print, and mentioning of several charges. But they didn't ask for my credit card number and they didn't charge me anything for selecting my vehicle and entering the VIN and looking at the results. That "minor features" listing is similar to the "build sheet" your dealer can print out for you when he puts your VIN into his Ford computer.
