Thanks for the info!!
Yeah bought the 4/7 plug too. I would say to double check under the dash/steering column to see if the TBC plug is there.

So I wasn't lucky enough to have all seven wires for the 7 pin running to the original 4pin. Currently the extra wires for the electric brakes, battery charger, and reverse lights on the 7 pin are taped up. Does anyone know what wires to splice into to power those connections?

I would like to ultimately utilize an OEM brake controller after I can figure out the wiring on the 7 pin.

Thanks

I just want to make sure I understand, you have a 2010 with no tow package, four wire plug at bumper, but 7 wires at the connection by the spare, and a 4 wire brake controller under the dash and you got the oem IBC to work by having the dealer program it ? I'm just trying to make sure because I've got the same setup and so far I've chickened out gamblilng that it would work.

Yes that's exactly what my situation was. The brake controller plug under the dash has more then 4 wires though, can't remember as I didn't count them. Bought a Ford 4/7 wire plug too just for simplicity and easy hook up, no wire splicing.

And fyi the brake controller works unbelievably good too.

Do you know the part number for 4/7 wire plug. I have been looking for that exact setup for my truck. I like you do not want to cut up the wiring.
