Default Brake controller

Hi all, I have an 04 f150 non heritage model with the tow package. I bought and installed a Prodigy P2 brake controller today. I have the package ford provided and made sure the wires from the F150 P2 harness matched the factory under dash harness. I installed the relay for charging and checked the fuse #105 for the brake controller power from the pass side kick panel. My problem is there is no power going to the harness. I checked the fuse with a multimeter as well as switching with another 30amp known working fuse. I then pulled the fuse and checked for power in the fuse block. It did have power on the hot side of the fuse. I checked continuity from the cold side of the fuse to the under dash factory harness plug and no continuity. The red 12v wire goes into a thick main run of wires that are wrapped so I can't trace it back through the dash. From what I've read already, the other fuses and really for lights etc. Am I missing something or could there be a break in the wire somewhere? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks ,
Dan

If I'm understanding you, there is no power in the harness connection on the bumper side, ie the 7 pin?

If that is the case I would start at the connector to ensure that there is proper connection to the pins and then work back, as this is the area that receives all the environmental abuse.

No, it's not at the 7 pin connector. Under the drivers side dash there is a pre-installed harness plug that the controller plugs into. It has a leed for power, truck brake switch, trailer brake feed, ground and maybe illumination cluster. That is where there is no power coming from the fuse pannel. I checked the 7 pin and two prongs have power at rest with the truck running. Assume it's running lights and tail light.

Tecrep, yes it's in that middle spot.
