Then put it on a trailer and strap in down good with quality straps and you'll have a great trip

yep trailer it, much nicer for long drives. i used dollies for short trips and could imagine trying to use one for long.

The only probably I ever had hauling a car, was on a flatbed trailer where we didn't have the car far enough to the front to provide proper tongue weight, and the result was almost total disaster. Going down the highway at 60MPH+, the trailer took over and started swaying like crazy and almost put us in the river. So, make sure when you load the car on the trailer, that you do it properly and get it far enough to the front to get proper tongue weight. Beyond that, I'd much rather haul a car on a full trailer than one of those dollies.

Trailer. Those dollies are sketchy and put miles on the car....

I have a tow dolly to tow a Honda Odyssey behind the RV. It works fine on short and long trips. It is true that you can not back up, but it is easy to load and unload when you can not get out of a gas station going forward (Don't ask).

I went this route over a car hauler, because of 5,000# tow vehicle limit. If I had the extra weight capacity on the hitch, I would choose the car hauler.

I towed a 1997 Honda Prelude behind a 2006 Honda Pilot on a car dolly and it was fine.
