Roadmaster has a 30 day return policy if it does not meet your expectations, no questions asked. I talked to 2 different dealer/installers near me and they said they would refund my purchase price, less the install cost. The both quoted me 2 hours labor at $80/hr.

But, it gets better. I called Roadmaster directly and spoke to Nolan. A super nice, friendly and very knowledgeable guy. I explained the 5-10 MPH shudder and he agreed it was axle wrap. He was sure this product would resolve it, again, if not he would refund the price, this is also applicable for self installs as well, which is awesome.

Now a note to the Supercrew guys. He said for the first time in over 20 years Ford has changed their springs which in turn affected their design, again this supposedly only applies to the Supercrew of any wheelbase. They need a different piece to connect to the axle and he said they only have a few left and to re-order them takes a month or so. Please be very specific with your vehicle config. if ordering.

My truck is in for the 3rd time with this and is currently being worked on by an engineer from Ford. I am seriously contemplating this as a fix to the low speed shudder. I want to work with my dealer and see if they will help me with the cost.

Again, if you call, ask to speak with Nolan and tell them Drew recommended you there, we had a great conversation and he is well aware of this issue with our trucks and eager to solve it.
I will call him in a few minutes.

Remember, I have a SCAB not a SCREW - 145" wheelbase not the 157 that most others have.

THANKS so much for the research - I'll be calling now and let you know.

Done. Ordered one set. Should be here by next Wednesday - plan on putting them on next weekend and I'll let you all know how they work out.

Bucketman... THANKS for the contact - you were right, Nolan was a huge help and answered all my questions. While I had him on the phone, I walked him through the forum and pointed him to this thread so he will be keeping an eye on it.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks for being the test mule jimmy!

I am very confident that this will work out for you. I am anxious to hear your thoughts once you get them on.

If at all possible have you considered doing a write up for the site?

If indeed these do resolve the low speed shudder, I expect quite a few guys buying these!

Oh one last thing for like minded people.

Talking to the guy whom works there, these are 100% USA MADE.

This is very important to me.

I ordered a Roadmaster for a previous Tacoma I had and the only complaint I had was when I returned it, they made me pay a restocking fee plus shipping it back to them. I ended up paying about 100 bucks just to send it back. I bought it for the Tacoma but traded the Tacoma in for the F150 before I received them so I had to send it back to them.

So you never installed them?

Nope, I ordered them and while they were in the shipping process I traded my Tacoma in for the F150. So I sent them back.
