X2 Clevis doubles the pull and easier on driveshafts and u joints.

That's what I'm dealing with here!
I'm a rookie to boot as well, but doing fine.
Dumb question time.... Warn is abbrev. for Warner right?
Same CO that makes the Bull Bars?
Do you remember what you paid for your clevis?

Warn is just Warn as far as I know. This is the one that I have, I got it from Tractor Supply here locally.

Nice pics. The last stump we pulled out we didn't even try with the pickups. First put the JD 4230, that failed, took the neibors big 4 wheel Steiger to get it out.

Why not just use the tow hook on the front of the truck? That's what I do. Then I use 4X4 low range and back up. Works great.

Not me or anyone I know, you probably have seen this before not sure. Not the method I would use but seen other stupid things done as well.

Nothing wrong with using the front hooks for most things but the heavy tugging I prefer to use the hitch with a clevis.

Will get pics of the wall later, But i was pulling a massive rhododendron out today, I feel it give so i let off and get out to check... Rodo came out but a 6 foot cement wall with stone face came down with it too. Didn't think that would happen.
