Anybody out there recently install an Air Ride 5000 air bag kit on a 2016 F150?

I installed the kit and the truck was so rough it wasn't drivable. Tried 5 lbs to 35 lbs and finally settled on 5 lbs. Called Air Lift and they said there was an issue with the bags supplied and sent me a different set of bags.

Installed the second bags and the ride improved dramatically. Still a little rough compared to stock but workable. Problem is now the truck has a severe rake. With 7 lbs the rear end is 1 1/2 " higher than stock. With no air in bags the rear end is still 1/2" higher than stock.

Contacted Air Lift and they said they would check out the pics of my install and get back to me.

Anybody else have this problem on a 2015 or 2016 F150? Solutions?

Installed some on my 2014 and they did give the rear a slight lift with 5 pounds in them. Hardly anything when empty. My truck is a hair nose-high without any pressure in the bags so that it'll be completely level when the required 5 pounds are in them.

I installed the 5000's, the ultimate's and both destroyed my ride as well. I finally went with the load levelers and I am completely satisfied. If you went through amazon they do have a 30 day return policy.


Best of luck to you on this as I had one hell of a time getting the ride where I wanted it.
