Air Bags or Not?
#12
X3 on the RAS. I pt them on my truck and couldn't be happier. I frequently pull my travel trailer long distances for work and didn't want the maintenance hassle of airbags, the RAS is a plug and play. My TT has a tongue weight of around 800-900 LBS, added with the WDH my truck rides very smooth and no sagging as it did before the RAS.

I have a 2013 Ford F150 Eco Limited. I pull a 7 X 14 enclosed trailer that weighs about 4,200# loaded. The tongue weight is 320#.
The Limited has 22" wheels so the carry load is only 1,145# and a GVWR of 7,200#.
I don't think I will ever go over the limit.
I am thinking about getting the Firestone 2525 air bags.
Do I really need to do this?

I think the payload problem is from having 22" wheels.

RAS and/or Timbrens Airbags etc... and warranty issues
Does RAS "void the warranty" as Ford is always threatening if you make any modifications to your truck and for that matter do Timbrens? they just replace factory bump stops, seems like that shouldn't be an issue...Anybody know the answer? Thx.
