Default Adjustable Hitch

I have a standard hitch on the explorer I've used in the past to tow my boat. Just got a '16 KR and want to buy an adjustable with both a 2 and 2 5/8 ball. Quite a few brands/models out there. Anyone have any recommendations on ones that work great and ones to avoid, etc. Truck is stock height, and worst case I'd level it and put slightly larger tires on it. Based upon that, I'd guess the most common up to 6" drop versions would be perfect.

A bit pricey but I use a B&W Tow and stow has both *****, adjustable height an when not towing just revers it and the ***** tuck under the bumper bumper so you don't bust your chin.

That Diversa-Tech is a pretty thing, but I agree with bubbabud - if I'm going to have to spend almost $300 for an adjustable WC ball mount, it's going to be brand I've heard of before. Like this one:

The DT hitch is nice because everything locks

The B&W used pins that isn't theft resistance

Yeah, those are expensive... was looking more in the < $200 price range... looking at an Anderson Rapid Hitch or the Trimax line... any experience with those?

I have 1/2 dozen cheap hitches and believe me you get what you pay for and the B&W with the 7" drop is not much over your $200 budget It will be the last hitch you will ever have to buy.

I have an Anderson adjustable hitch. It works great for use with my open car trailer. Some of the reviews on Trimax made my decision for the Anderson an easy one.

If you buy the Anderson unit, I highly suggest you purchase the Anderson brand locking key set at the same time (it will lock the hitch to the truck's receiver and the adjustable part to the remainder of the hitch).

The unit itself is solid aluminum and arrives well polished. It has heft to it not only in weight but also in appearance. Many people have commented on the size of the hitch (it's rated for 10k tow weight).
