97 f150 leaf spring upgrade
So I'm looking to replace my leaf springs and I do tow and haul quite a but during the summer. I was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to f250 spring or what my options would be. I don't need to increase payload but want to eliminate the sqaut that happens. Let me know what options I have.

Helper airbags... The boss just put them in his truck and i was really impressed with them. It actually seems to ride better than without and a lot nicer than it would with f250 springs. I liked it so much i just ordered a set of bags for mine..

I would go with airbags too. They make a world of difference. Plus if you want factory ride quality, reduce them to like 15 pounds, and you won't feel them at all.

I personally got firestone airbags from the dealership here in town.

You could always go to a local spring shop and have them either add leaf(s) or make an overload spring for you too. I did that to my 97 SC long bed 4x4 when I had it. I also jacked up the torsion bars in the front for an additional 1-2".
