Called Ford customer service today for the four time about the trailer sway problem. Also asked simple question about screen settings. If the answer is not in the owners manual Ford customer service can not help you.
If you are looking at buying a new Ford I suggest you consider a Chevy or Dodge.

Like a couple of guys have mentioned already, the rear springs are pretty light on the F-150 to appease most of their buyers ride quality expectations.

Rear load support will really help cut down on the sway issues you are running into.

Let me know if I can help you out at all.

I just put a Hellwig rear swaybar on my 13. Took it for a drive and it's rock solid now. I'd suggest that as a first mod. IF you don't like it, it's easily removed(and it's pretty cheap).

Did you ever resolve this?

I tried 3 different sway equalizer hitches.
The end result was the 10,000 pound Equal-i-zer weight distribution system.
Drop the trailer tires 10 pound and add 10 pounds to the truck rear tires.
This has made the ride tolerable.
I still believe the problem lies in the passenger rated tires that come standard on the F150.
Don't get me wrong other then the towing problem the truck is awesome, As for Ford support it is seriously lacking.
What have you found?

Ford support lacking doesn't really surprise me for trailer towing. I bet if you call Chevy or Dodge you would get about the same level of support.

Good to know! I have the Equalizer 12k hitch. I was going to try maxing out the air pressure in the rear truck tires next tow. I currently have them at 36 psi and I think the max on mine (20" Michelins) is 44 psi. Is that where you set yours?

My experience isn't bad when the road is nice and smooth and it's honestly not horrible even when it's not, but I think there's some room for improvement.

I have very little problems in NO wind conditions. The real problem happens with any type of wind.
I would like to hear what you experience on your next trip.
