Hooked to friends F250 and pulls straight as an arrow.
I wonder if the lighter weight of the truck makes it more susceptible to being pushed by the TT?

Something still does not make sense to me with this one. I know I pull a goosneck but my pin weight is well north of his tounge weight. I don't feel like my truck is being pushed around or that my much taller sidewall 18 inch p series tires are overmatched. I still think it's a hitch related issue. My towed weight is more and mine shifts around as you drive because it's live animals over 1k each, so I can't figure out what is leading to his trailer pushing him around so much.

I think maybe a little more load on the ball might help, not sure though. Can you post a pic of it hooked up?

Changed the truck ball height so it is 1" above the leveled trailer height. The tongue weight is 700 lbs. the back of the truck drops 3.5" when trailer is lowered on the truck. The tires are Hankook P275/55 R20. I have tried tire pressure from 35 psi to 50 psi. I see some improvement at 50 psi.

The roadmaster active suspension will help with this greatly message me about them I can explain but the the stock tires are prolly part of the issue, the new truck should pull the same as old one as the frames are very similar the difference is the hitch height or the p rated truck tires

I called Ford customer service 3 times and had the truck into selling dealer's service department. All I have gotten is lip service, no help and no clue about towing a trailers. Ford and the dealer should look through the F150 brochure and see what the truck is supposed to be capable of.
I checked the tongue weight and it is 700 pounds.
Still looking for help if anyone has any more suggestions.

I pulled this same trailer with a 2004 F150 with no sway problems. I'm using a pro series weight distribution hitch. The ball is set 1" above the level trailer height.
