Do we know what the difference is between the ad and the ae mirrors. The ones I got are ae and I put them on and the new switch and the power mirror function is the only thing that works.

I am going to find out. It did not have the power telescope and fold option but had all other options and they were the AC version mirror. I ordered the same harness from that truck and as for the power Tele/fold option, I am going to attempt a direct wiring to the servos and see if that works. My harnesses should be in Monday....fingers crossed.

The XLT did have the correct wiring and now all functions that were working on my mirrors are now working ( lights, signals, power mirror, heated and dimming ) but.... the other options that the XLT , that I had the serial number, had ( puddle lamps, LED spots ) do not work.

The dealer told me that the mirrors will only have the options that my truck had before the addition of the mirrors and the modules cannot be programmed to work the other options and washed they're hands of it.

That was not the deal under the premise that I purchased the truck. I was willing to wait for one to come from the factory and told three different dealers to call when there was one available. This particular deal wanted the sale and I'm now going through this. Not to mention that the truck as had the door liner replaced do to a rip from a careless mechanic and I've ordered a door pull from it being scratched and it had to go back again because the door would not close after the cable was pinched after the panel replacement.

Now I guess I'm stuck with what I have until I can either find someone to program the modules or hard wire it myself.

The dealer even charged me 600.00 to pay for part of the conversion in the initial sale.

Now I want to write a letter regarding this experience to Ford... but don't really know who to address my concerns to.

It's be difficult not to swear as I write this.... Just kind of at the end of my rope dealing with this.

I am sorry you are going through these troubles, but thanks for sharing. Your story helps those that are waiting for their special ordered truck to be remain patient instead of settling for something else. I have been waiting 9 months so far since I first ordered a 2015.

Freeair or that sucks. I've decided to sell the mirrors I got. to try and get the right ones but now I'm probably just going to get rid of them and stick with the ones I have.

Might have to add a separate switch to get them to work but I don't care. As long as we can get them to work that is.
Is your truck an XLT? If so, what part numbers for the smaller pin? I have a XLT super crew that has most options except for BLIS and some other random ones (that an xlt gets.) I'm ready to order now bc my passenger mirror is busted...Screw sonic! I need it to work like a normal truck. I dont mind manually folding and manually telescoping it. I need the blinkers to work, the electric adjust and for it to be heated... Can someone please help me?

My right mirror is broken so I just ordered part number "FL3Z-17682-AD" Praying it works with my XLT! After it comes in and verified that it's the correct part I'll order the other side.

I'm unsure what you mean by... what part numbers for the smaller pin?
But I did add tow mirrors to my XLT that had all the options you mentioned that you want working and it was easily done.

The AD mirror will work. It is the mirror with power fold and extend but it can still be folded and extended manually.

FL3Z-17682-AC is the part number for the same mirror with manual fold and extend.

Carefully pop your cover on the inside of your door, covering the 4 nuts that hold the mirror on, and take a look at your connector. If your truck has only and 8 pin connector you will have to order harnesses. The harnesses are FL3Z-14631F and FL3Z-14630C if your truck is only equipped with the 8 pin mirror connector.

This thread will help you as well.... https://www.f150forum.com/f118/retro...09210/index10/

Hey guys, new here and just picking up this thread. I'm wondering if this works on a 16 truck that had blis, 360 camera, and power fold/ heat/ spot light, turn signal. Is it still just a new control panel and new mirrors? Is it around 1200?

Are these the mirrors I'd need? I see something in the pictures on the bottom of the mirror that looks like a sensor, is that actually a camera or just a sensor

Thanks for any help y'all may provide.
