Default 2013 F150 Ecoboost TOWING question

Hey guys, I am new to the group and have a towing question. I have a Tracer 3175 Camper with the following specs:

Hitch Weight * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 820 lbs.
UVW * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 7256 lbs.
CCC * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 2364 lbs.
Exterior Length * * * * * * * * * * * * * *34′ 10″
Exterior Height * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 11′ 1″
Exterior Width * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 96″
Fresh Water * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 42 gal.
Gray Water * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *34 gal.
Black Water * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 30 gal.
Awning Size * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *12 ft

Any issue towing this camper with a 2013 4x4 CrewCab Ecoboost ?

Your combined weight will be 9620. 12% of that will hit your payload (1155). Add in how much you weight over 150 pounds plus anyone else that will travel with you. Then add 100 pounds for a WDH. That's your minimum payload you need. Compare that to the yellow sticker in the driver door jams at your dealer.

I would want an F150 with the HD Payload option or a Superduty with that big a camper.

That's dry weight. Ignore it.

UVW * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 7256 lbs.
CCC * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 2364 lbs.

GVWR 9620. So figure on at least 9,000 pounds for the wet and loaded trailer with normal stuff in it ready to go camping. Average hitch weight is 12.5% of trailer weight so figure on 1,125 tongue weight plus another 75 pounds for a good WD hitch. You'll probably be overloaded with that much trailer.

xterior Length * * * * * * * * * * * * * *34′ 10″

Too long for an F-150 SuperCrew, unless you spend the big bucks for a ProPride hitch. If you don't want to invest in a ProPride , then back off on trailer length to less than 30 feet.

There will be no issue right up until your first big gust of wind or a semi passing at 120kmph. Then you will have to surgically remove your seat covers from your butt. That's too long and overall too large for that truck.
