Default Air Lift Installation

Hello...I have a Air Lift kit for my 2015 F150. I would like to install the air compressor under the seat in the back (passenger side). I have the optional inverter box there and I was wondering if I could use one of the wires for the power source. Can someone tell me if I can do this and if so, which wire?
Thanks in advance.....rvoress

You sure you want the compressor inside the cab? It's a big noisy and runs frequently (to maintain the min 5psi pressure). Several different options on alternative exterior mounting locations. Preferably somewhere sheltered from road debris and winter chemicals.

Here's how I installed mine (back when I had an F150):

I have my compressor under the rear seat and it is not noisy at all. If it is constantly running, you have an air leak and need to fix it. If you put the gauge anywhere near the dash you will be running air lines to the compressor and I suggest running the power wire then since it connects to the controller.

Here is where I mounted my controller/gauge and it works well.

I would probably not tap the inverter for power. Do you have the "up fitter " switches? What is the nominal current draw and/or recommend fuse for the compressor? If you do tap the inv, go ahead and install the proper fuse for the compressor downstream of the tap. Im guessing the inv, has a 20A fuse and the comp. is probably not more than 10. You don't want a small load hooked to a big fuse. If the load in question shorts out, it may not be able to blow the fuse and now you have a fire.
