Default 2000 F150 stock 4-pin towing diagram?

does anyone have a wiring diagram or know how that plug is wired in?

i'm guessing you have the bare min tow package....look at the 4 pin plug for rot and breaking on the green wire...aftermarket kits are cheaper to replace with....curt/reese/hidden all make kits..

i put a new 4 pin kit on the truck because the old one had become less than conductive and efficient.

the problem is the green wire and where it comes from.

does it actually tap into the right tail light or some where else on the truck. need to pull the taillight off and look but its raining today.

I think 12v pulsed or solid comes thru F19 in Battery Junction Box under hood. Trailer hookup fuses are separate from truck light fuses. Fuse 19 should have pulsed 12v (right turn/hazard) or solid (brake) otherwise should be 0v.

It does not tap into right tail light. Its separate all the way from turn signal switch thru fuse 19.
