Default 2 trips are for *****s pic thread

I was crunched for time today and needed to move my boat, 4-wheeler and 8 sacks of crawfish 2 hours away and two trips wasn't an option. So like any true coonass would do I went all out Beverly Hillbillies on that ****. After an hour of loading up I had the crawfish in the back seat, the 4-wheeler in the bed, and the boat hooked up; and it added up to quite a load and a very horrible smelling cab. But the old 5.0 got it done!

What are some of the heaviest, weirdest, or crammed hauls yall have had to make?

I've hauled some heavy *** **** that has no business on a half ton, but that's another story. Love seeing these things worked like a truck without somebody digging in their purse for a calculator. That's an impressive mess you got there. Coonass... that's funny

I head you. I'll never understand why people buy a full sized 4x4 pickup then slap a bed over on it and never touch anything but asphalt.

Why not put the crawfish in the boat? It wasn't that hot today!

I went to Grand Isle today and had my truck and my 14' trailer loaded down. Pots..burners...tanks...tables in the truck and some chairs...big trash cans and some heavy wood in the trailer. I had to load and unload by myself because everyone else was working...not good to be retired sometimes. Bringing down 10 to 12 sacks of crawfish and some more chairs Friday for the big annual boil!

I'd love to try some of those recipes I have heard so much about from Louisiana. Up here we have "Crayfish" (same thing) only they're tiny little buggers and you'd be lucky to catch a gallon bucket full in a day- all their good for is bait.

Awesome! When I was a kid the whole family would rent a camp every year for the 4th of July. But we would boils crabs and shrimp, that was our break from crawfish haha.

It's going to be a busy weekend in the crawfish business!!

If you really want to experience some great traditional cajun food and culture you should make the trip down to Eunice, Louisiana for Mardi Gras. We have a very traditional Mardi Gras run with thousands of runners. (New Orleans Mardi Gras is not real Mardi Gras). I actually met a couple this year from Maine who have been coming to our Mardi Gras for the last 20 years because they love it so much. The party starts on Friday and lasts until Tuesday night. It'll definitely be an experience you'll never forget.

As long as you don't mind extremely drunk people wearing costumes and masks begging you for money haha
