I had issues with popups that wouldn't go away, it happened on pc and all mobile devices. Even got tied into internet explorer. I had google chrome sync login set. I found out somewhere in the cookies/stored data somehow was the issue. I just had google clear everything pretty much. Then did the same with internet explorer. After that no more issues. Not sure what it was but something got stored into mine and transferred to everything, ads like crazy on this site. Not sure about apple products if it works the same, never owned any.

I get this "Your iPad has been selected..." pop up on my iPad frequently as well. Today when it popped up I hit the back button several times thinking it might send me back to the thread I was viewing and I was suddenly at "pornhub." I hit the back button again and I was directed to another pornography website.

I do not visit "pornhub" or the other sites I was sent to when I hit the back button, so there is no reason for it to be in my history unless the ad redirects traffic through that website. It's disappointing enough that the annoying ads pop up, much more so when you're bombarded with pornography while trying to read a thread about the 2018 F150 or something...
