By the end of the day, we'll have a like/thank button system that will be used to recognize someone for a useful post or thread. The system is in place in a lot of different forums so most of you probably know how it works.
In case you don't... If you read a post that's helpful to you or you think is going to be helpful to others, click the "Like" or "Thank" button that will be appearing on the post. There's already one for Facebook liking and twitter sharing, this will be for inter-forum recognition only.
After a post gets recognized, the person that posted it will get notified of the event and a counter in the username field will keep track of the number of times you or any other member has been thanked.
