For a while now, when trying to use the app on my phone and tablet, I am getting a message of, "ERROR: The remote server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict."

Is anyone else receiving this message when trying to access threads, etc.?

yes, the f'in app has been down for weeks. but the mods / admins are so busy tracking the 28,976 threads asking the same question "is the app down" that they dont have time to work on fixing the app

One of them posted a thread recently that it is being worked on.

It seems only certain threads gives a error message. They need to update the damn thing and get it operating as it should.

it has been updated, or I should say replaced by Garage Talk I believe.

if a mod reads this, you guys should really push for one of your geeks to create a warning message on the old app, error or not, as soon as a user opens it, encouraging people to download GT. Or we'll get threads like this for the next 15 years!

I just now read and found the new app. I still can't make changes to my Profile. Is this something that should be done through the browser? I had issues uploading pics with the old app as well. I don't see a place to upload pictures on this app.

there's a little landscape icon when you are in the Post / Reply box to attach images.

not sure about editing your profile though.
