Yep, Nice & Thick aluminum. The darn thing must weight 5lbs. Was going to go with one of the Girdle style diff covers without extra capacity but *all I could think about was how strong the 9.75" already is and how adding two more bolt holes in the middle of the cover would just add potential for leakage.

This one is built like a tank with beautifully machined hardware. Everything is top notch looking so far.

I think it was around $250. I'm still planning on Air Lockers and that's just stupid expensive so I'm buying things in parts to not make it hurt so much.

..although if I end up going to the 10.25" Sterling, I'm just wasting money.

I'll buy it off you if you go with a 10.25. You have 4.56s right? If I don't have my gears done if or when you go to 10.25 I may be interested in buying the whole axel off you, your only an hour away from me. If you wanted to sell it of course.
