Nothing really new. Cleaned the engine bay today it looks great. AMP steps are fast approaching.
I bought a SH$T tone of Adams products. Man that stuff is killer. This is like 1/2 of it and I already need to order more. Great service, great product. I'm a committed customer

Brother owns a Chrysler dealer and came by over the weekend. Usually has a Viper or Grand Cherokee SRT(phenomenal vehicle, must see for yourself to understand)
But this time he came up in a 14 1500 EcoDiesel and I must say, I'd trade him my 150 for that truck there and then. I've been really curious about the diesel so he let me take it out. It's definitely slower than my EB and likely the 5.0 for that matter, once you get going no biggie. Sounds awesome really wanted to hear it with a different exhaust. And the fuel economy was incredible. 8 litres/100kms doing 110 on the hwy.
my biggest thing was build quality. This thing squashed the F150 in terms of detail and craftsmanship. This was a longhorn so it's basically a platinum but there was tons of leather, raised/contrast stitching, real wood, awesome door design, great seats, everything was really solid and tight. Tons of little details in the cluster, floor matts, doors, sill plates etc. I forgot what it's like to close a door and not see it ripple haha.
Suspension was fantastic too. All this said, no truck will be perfect. What I didn't like was the floor in the back, not flat like ours. Also like our belt line with the windows instead of just flat. The touch screen system seems kind of unorganized and complicated compared to MFT. And don't like the 8 speed shift ****. Would I still trade? Yeah. I somewhat think because I'm just kind of already bored and ready to go on to the next thing. Bad habit of mine.
At the end of the day the Ram definitely left with 2 things, far superior craftsmanship/quality/detail, and superior fuel economy. Hats off to Ram, definitely deserve 2nd place. Them and Ford are the only ones really pushing the market I think. Interested to see what they release to fight off the 15's.
Also, picture how much better this would look with painted bumpers. That would be my first mod

Beer Gut Extraordinaire
Ehh, I found the fit and finish to be not that great in the Ram. You push the centre of the dash and you hear that awful plastic-on-plastic "creak" and the entire dashboard flexes. Idk, I wasn't impressed. The extra money the diesel costs will never be recouped with improved fuel economy. It's all a marketing gimmick. Add in the extra complexity of a diesel motor, no thanks. Can't justify a slower truck that doesn't save me any money.

HC, my door panels and dash and console do that. They make that noise over bumps.
As far as wheels falling off goes I have yet to see a recent gen loose a wheel. All trucks have their issues. In no way are our F150's perfect, in no way at all.
I'm saying if he would I would trade him. And like I said maybe it's because I'm bored already, but I was damn impressed and they sure as hell get a solid 2nd place
