I'm very curious to see where this build goes especially with those wheels. I can see where they would fit in on the older style F150 like you posted above but on the new ones, I'm not so sure. Not my cup of tea but if it works for you, well good for you, and we support it.

They look better black almost like a method wheel but we'll see. I could see it working out if you are going towards the pre runner style.

I'm doing some research now on tires. I want a nice A/T tire without the road noise. And also want something that's going to last more than 40thousand miles. I'm looking into the Nitto Terra Grapplers, they look pretty decent and have a mileage warranty of just over 60thousand.

terra grapplers are good. ill also mention hankook dynapro AT, my uncle had a set on his 3/4 ton and claims to have got 70,000 out of them. i was planning on going with them this round but ended up getting mud tires again

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You had me worried there. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

For tires, have you considered the Duratrac or the KO2?

KO2 is my personal favorite:
(never mind the cliche 8 spoke rim :P )

Wife didn't want me to black out the bumpers and grill so I decided to leave the wheels alone. Goes with the chrome. For now,,,

Those rims remind me of the old rims I had on my 73. they were the ones with rivets on the outer edge of the inside of the rim. It doesn't look too bad. Are you set on black powder coating? There are several different colors to choose from. Like maybe a charcoal gray.
