nice truck, good job .

IMO I wouldn't have used plasti dip for anything, its a cheap poor mans ghetto way of doing PTM. I personally hate it and used it once on my atv and never again.

just my .02 for future PTM jobs.

Ya I wouldnt use it on my ATV, that takes way more of a beating than my truck so its not really comparable in my situation. However, had I not told anyone it was Plastidip they would think it was PTM, so I think it did its job well Now of course I wouldnt use it on any big pieces where it would stand out but on the small areas/parts like I did it, you can't tell the difference in person.

Thanks for the feedback

hahaha congrats, you will not be upset man! I love mine, like my build thread shows you will have to do some slight trimming but nothing to insane. That's assuming you have a 2" level, I cant remember if you had the 2" or 2.5".

So glad I seen your truck with the mavericks and went that route. I have received so many compliments from people about the tire/rim combo especially with the white truck. I had people in public and neighbours I never talked to before telling me "your truck looks way better with the rims you have on now(mavericks), than the ones you had before(rockstars)"....and of course im in love with the look myself!

Be sure to post up pictures!

This is all I have so far. I was originally wanting Toyo AT 2 extremes in 295/60/20, but I couln't pass up the deal. A friend owns a local tire shop, as well as a 2015 F150 Platinum 4x4 (FX4). He had it leveled with these Nittos Trails with 1500 miles. He decided to put a 6" on 35 Nitto Trails on Weds. All said and done, I only forked out $890 for tires (w/1500 miles), install, inspection, and tax.
I do like them, but I definately lost mpg compared to my 33x12.5 toyo mt. The ride is much nicer, but what new tires arent? Definately filled the wheel wells up, and yes trimming was required... Bumper plastic was cake, but im rubbing the rear of the fender a little too. I didnt have the time/daylight to do it yesterday after work and I have a fishing rodeo this weekend in Grand Isle, LA... So it looks like i'll be rub'n for a few days! Did you have to clean up the rear fender for clearance when turning too? I know you have the +20 offset, but I have the +14. If so can you post a pick of where you trimmed?

Ya I have slight rubbing there to but its only when Im at full lock or close to it and the only time Im ever full lock is at slow speeds like backing into a parking space or parallel parking. I decided Id rather not hack up my fender for that minimal of rubbing in those circumstances. When I first got them I was reversing into my drive at full lock and I have a hump at one spot, as soon as I hit that hump it changed the angles of everything and made the tire grab the fender flare, causing it to pop one of the clips out of the fender flare. So I've been missing a clip ever since but you can't tell as the flare is still on there with all the other clips in tact. I always avoid that hump when backing in now and have never had any problems since.

P.S. Truck looks great! Always loved that black FX4 decal and those nfab steps. Flows nicely!

lookin good you two @black_thunder, Rajun Cajun!!! we virtually have the same size setup your 20x9 +20 295/60r20 (34.4) vs my 18x9 +25 295/70r18 (34.3) and i had zero rubbing and zero trimming and am running those HD Flaps!! hmm that +5mm makes that big of a difference i guess!! im now pondering selling my setup for 33x12.5x18 Toyo RT and 18x10 -24 offset brcause i want lots of stance!!
