Thanks! I love the way the shifter feels. Got it from auto zone. And im joining the Navy. Gonna be a SeaBee Builder like my Dad and Grandpa. Always been a dream of mine. And the light rack I got from sterling equipment, I'll attach a link. It was a pain in the *** to find one that mounted on the bed rails instead of going into the bed. They can make it however you want but freight shipping is a killer.

also got paid a little today so muffler will be ordered tomorrow!

and highboycustom, i love your truck man! i had a '76 f100 with a 390 in it before the one i have now. It was my first vehicle and it would try its best to haul some *** If it were 4x4 i wouldve kept it forever.

Thank you for your service man! And your fathers and grandpa's. My father just retired from the navy. I'm so thankful my truck is 4x4.

Personally I like a little black and a little chrome. That's how I have my 88 F150.
Also personally don't care for painted bumpers (on this gen I only like them on Super duties) again just me. Then VHT the tail lights. The rest I like.

Haha I've just never been much for chrome. I didn't have painted bumpers on it but I got rear ended by a drunk so I had to replace the back one and it was originally grey. The one they replaced it with was black and I liked how it matched the wheels so I had them paint the front one too. But I am gonna replace both with heavy duty bumpers. Can't do much about the tail lights because of the laws here. If you like chrome though you'll like the exhaust tips I'm gonna get

Cool like I said they are just suggestions.
Right now on my 88 it has a chrome front bumper and grey rear. I haven't decided weather to paint it black or gray or just get a chrome one. I know I want to keep my chrome front bumper. That sucks it was rear ended.
I know how it feels about laws. Where I use to live they would pull you over for going a mph over the speed limit. It sucked. (typical Las vegas). Now I live in a small town in Arizona and I haven't been pulled over yet (knock on wood) for anything and I have had loud exhaust and everything (I drove my brothers 84 B2 through town 4-6 times with just manifolds. It was crazy loud). LOL

Haha yea when I got the truck it had a grey steel front bumper. So I've never seen it with chrome but I like the chrome on my sisters '96. And yea I live in a small town in VA and I rode around fine with dark tint and black tail lights for about 8 months then I guess this cop thought I looked at him wrong so he pulled me over in my driveway and gave me TWO tickets. For tint and tail lights. And I'd never been warned for it before and had no idea they were illegal because tons of other cars and trucks have dark tint and dark tail lights. And after that I was getting pulled over all the time by him and the other town cops (cops in the next town nor the county sheriffs ever pulled me over) so I had to do something about it. But that is badass about your brothers B2. What kind of exhaust are you runnin on your truck? In VA any aftermarket exhaust is illegal but no one around here gets pulled over for it. But watch as soon as I put mine on they'll start enforcing it

Ya it is bad ***. Now it has a thrush single exhaust no cat since I had to get it quieter before it did get us pulled over or I messed the truck up. LOL
That sucks about the cops there. Most of my dad's buddies are cops so I just ask them before I do something so I don't get in trouble. Heck yesterday I was driving my mom's expedition and a cop passed by with his left headlight out. LOL
I plan to tint mine also a lot like my 02 but that's a ways off (have to drop an engine before anything).

Right now on my 88 I am running no cats into a walker muffler out the back stock style with a chrome tip all 2 1/4 with stock manifolds. When I had my truck running for about a month it sounds kinda like a diesel at idle which was kinda cool but when you got on it sounded like a pissed off hot rod. It sounded cool but not my favorite.
So when I get my motor put in I am going to run it till I build my 351W to where I want it then drop it in with some headers, true dual thrush glasspacks all 2 1/2 with 3" tips chrome either out the back or 45ed out the rear. Not completely sure just yet I do know that I am not running cats. I hate cats (and not the furry ones). LOL
Most of the cops around here know my truck because it use to be a repo truck before I got it. Seeing yours makes me wish this weather would pass on so I can get the motor in an enclosed area pull the heads off and see what it looks like then pull the old 302 out and drop in the one from my buddy because right now I don't have enough money for a 351W swap and built.
