Welp, it is happening this weekend. I thought since it was before the holidays that maybe
it wouldn't end up happening. The boy really wanted a Jeep. I guess they changed their mind.

So I'll have it this weekend. Then the work begins all over again.

First things first... clean it up, replace all the injectors, head lights, tail lights, get rid of that
hideous grill guard and replace that tail gate.

That's first.

I might bee in the same boat. My dad's persuading me to get a new truck, that he will buy, so he can have mine. And I think I'm gonna listen because I needed a bigger bed than my screw. I was looking for another fx4 but now I'm considering my bosses 2004 sierra 2500hd with the 8.1 big block and Allison, since it had the 8 ft bed and full 4 doors. Plus he's offering me a real good deal. Anyway, good luck with your situation, and remember it's for a good cause, we need more kids with trucks, especially American made.

Yeah, I'm hoping he starts working on it and modding it himself. Once he gets the
taste for it, he'll be hooked. It's in his blood. He can't run from it.

Hopefully he finds his way here. I wonder if he will ever stumble across any of my posts...

It has happened. The new ride is home. It's nowhere near the condition of my F-150, but I guess that will
take time. It's going to be a lot of work. My nephew is certainly getting the better truck. I'll miss the F150.

I would also get rid of those stock fender flares. Looks so much cleaner without them.
