Default tareed94's 2016 Lariat Build

Howdy guys and gals! Some of y'all have probably seen me around the forum. I recently traded in my 2007 F-150 FX4 with the 5.4L V8 on October 23, 2016. I drove all the way from Corpus Christi, TX to Abilene, TX to pick up a brand new 2016 F-150 Lariat FX4. Sticker price is right around $56,000, I negotiated them down to $43,500 with bed liner and window tint. They gave me $7,000 for my 07, which I thought was great considering it had 183,000 miles.

Now, details of the new one.
2016 Lariat FX4
5.0L V8
3.31 gears
502A Luxury Package
Oxford White/Caribou
Black Leather interior
Chrome step rails

Within a week of having the truck I got a rock chip in the windshield, which spread to a huge crack. While looking for a new windshield two different places said that I had rain sensing wipers and lane departure. Neither of which are listed on my window sticker. Well when I washed it the other day the wipers came on when I sprayed the windshield, so I guess I do have the rain sensing wipers. It makes me wonder if I have the lane departure equipment and if it is just not turned on.

Two other peculiarities of the truck, it has highway tires on it, and the bumpers are painted the same color as the accent color (caribou). Ford's website does not show this as a combination that is possible. It shows that I should have chrome bumpers, and all terrain tires. It's kinda interesting, seems like I've got some kind of unicorn since it's got at least one feature that is not on the window sticker.

Within the past week I have swapped bulbs out in the fog lights to LEDs so they match the headlights, and I have installed Husky wheel well liners.

LEDs $25 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Husky Liners $118.87 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Future mods (in order):
Exhaust:
I have a Flowmaster American Thunder kit that I have ordered but I suspect it will cancel, due to an error on the Walmart website. If it cancels I will be making plans to purchase a Magnaflow 12298 muffler, dual'd out with 3" pipe to tips straight out the back.
Tint:
I want to do clear tint on the windshield and then a 5% brow straight across the windshield.
Level:
Not sure if I want to run Rancho QL's and RS-9000XL's again or if I want to just run a spacer. I'm leaning more toward the Rancho's or getting Fox equipment.
Wheels/Tires:
I'd like to run 20x10 Hostile Gauntlets with 295/55 Toyo Open Country MT's.

Now for pictures.

Thanks! I've got some big plans for it. Right now I'm trying to improvise a toolbox for the bed that doesn't mount to the bed rails or require holes to be drilled. I'm also looking at exhaust options and think I've got a plan.

I agree! No complaints at all from me. It had a lot done to it, but it also had some issues which is why I was selling it.

I'll be getting Air80 window film installed on the windshield this week. I want to get it on before I put on my registration sticker.

Just installed a Lexerd Anti Glare screen protector, no pic because there's a few bubbles. I'm hoping they work out with heat because I couldn't get them with a credit card.

Got a plan in place of how my mods are going to go.

Fox 2.0 rear shocks
Windshield and front window tint
Husky X-Act floor mats
Magnaflow 12298 muffler, 3" pipe dualed out the back
Rancho Quicklift struts
BAK MX4
OBD II scanner with FORscan software
Cooled seat fix from SeatGuru
20x8.5 KMC Slide wheels in chrome
295/55 Nitto Ridge Grappler (maybe 295/65, 33x12.5, 35x11.5, or 35x12.5)

Once my warranty runs out it might be time for a lift kit.

I'm planning to order my Fox shocks tomorrow once I get the forum code from Stage 3.

Well I got impatient, and started thinking. Stage3 is currently running 18% off on FOX right now so adding a forum code may knock out the 18%. So I just placed my order.

Pair of Fox 2.0 rear shocks
$213.12

Let me know if there's a big difference I'm contemplating it right now.
Some people say there night and day and others say it's just a little stiffer.

Wish I could pay $213.12 for them here in Canada, I would already have a set.
