An Autospring 2.5" is only $80 through Stage 3, and I think I have a 10% off coupon. Not sure if I'll attempt the install myself or not with the limited workspace of the apartment. I can always add coils or something at a later time, but to do leveling coils then switch to a 4" lift would waste a bunch.

if you did leveling coils a 4 inch lift would really be a 6inch anyhow.... 6 inch lifts are usually 4 inch kits with a leveling block on top of the strut.

I say start with a puck and do a level. They're super cheap, even if you pay someone to install it. Start with that and then decide what size wheels and tires you want.

I'm gonna do a puck level first and do the 20x10's. From what I'm seeing online and what my buddy is seeing they should be able to clear with a 305/55 if we spread the crash bars a bit. Or we could go with a true 33x12.5 and likely clear with no modification, or go with a 295/55 and more than likely clear with no modification. Decisions, decisions... I know I want to run Nitto Ridge Grapplers though, so that's one portion of the decision out, and I know what rims I want, just not the sizing. Lol

The more I think about it the more paranoid/skeptical I get about bending or swapping the crash bars because I don't know how either of those will affect their performance in the event that I need them... Realistically they'll more than likely do their job perfectly still, but there's no evidence to back that up.

Speeddemon I know you swapped yours and it worked out well, and seems having them in general is better than not... I'm so on the fence about all this. Haha. It's so stock that I want to change things, but then again it's so stock that I love it because there's no fitment issues on anything.

Actually it wouldn't be a waste doing boss coilovers then a 4" lift if you change your mind.

You could install a 4" zone lift with the boss coilovers set at 2.5" and put a 1.5-2" coil spacer to get your 4" effective lift.
It's the same thing that a cheap lift does but your using a higher quality coilover instead of a factory strut.

You could just save your money and leave your perfectly fine and brand new truck alone haha. Yes it's boring for now, but just try to enjoy the new. You KNOW everything fits and has no problems right now, your tires are brand new. Just enjoy it for a while.

Haha. While I keep telling myself that, I'm not listening.

In other news, my buddy has since decided he is willing to hack stuff out, and is ordering 20x10 -19 Hostile Alphas and 33x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers today. I'll see how his fit since those are the same wheel and tire specs I want (same tires, same wheel brand, different wheel style) and see what happens. I'm really leaning more towards a 20x9 +10 with a 33x12.5, I don't think I'll get away with 35's with that offset without modifying the crash bars. Although on customwheeloffsets there is one guy that's running 35x12.5's on 20x9 +0 that claims just minor plastic trimming with no rub. But I don't see how that would be possible.

Bolded.
This is a big reason I haven't even really looked. May as well ride it on the new for a bit, I've only got 7k miles so far.
