Congrats! That big beast is moving. Would be high 10's in a lighter truck like mine. Wait till the Fall when the weather cools and I am sure you can knock a couple more tenths off.
I have been busy with work and working on our land, so no time for racing.
My shop is complete, now I just need to run the electrical, do a little sheet rock work on the inside and gravel around the perimeter.
I made a time lapse with one of my trail cams.

Since I haven't posted anything turbo related in awhile and feeling inspired by Ocasio's video, I decided to test fit a a couple things this morning.
I have had these couplings and MAF extension sitting for a while, so I decided to see if my idea if using the K&N intake as part of the charge pipe will actually work. The 12" MAF extension is just enough to reach, but I still need to get a catch can and some longer hose for the PCV and vacuum hose. Other than that I think it will do.
The rest of the piping/exhaust work should be pretty easy. Hardest part is going to be the independent oiling system, but I think I got it figured out and might start ordering some parts. Finding the time to install is another story right now.

Cool building. I find it interesting that they framed the majority of it before they placed the concrete slab. I built houses for a few years and have built a few shops also, and that's different from the process that I have used.
Big piece of property with a shop = WINNING!

It's what is considered pole barn construction and been around 100+years. A bit cheaper than going metal frame. They set 5x5 .6 pressure treated posts in the ground first, frame the building around that, then pour the concrete around the base of the frame/5x5 posts. With the .6 pressure treated wood and good drainage it might outlast me. lol

Yeah this project is on hold for now.
A. I decided I wanted a 2015 a while back and put my truck back to stock.
B. Just got laid off from work, so no unecessary spending for now.

Sorry to hear that about your work. Hope soon you'll be back on your feet. And me also, sold my old truck and bought a new one. Ran 14.8s stock at the track last week. There's nothing out there yet for the f150 5.0 so your not missing anything.
