thanks. I wasnt sure if the build had any followers. I've kinda been thinking about building a winch mount is there any specific steel specifications I should follow so it will be strong enough?

I'm not sure about that, only installed an ATV winch on a Pre existing bracket so I have no clue what you'd need to build one for a truck.

ok well I'm thinking about using 5/16" plate steel. im just not sure if that will be strong enough to hold a 12,000+ winch.

Love how far out the light shines. There's certain 90 degree curves I take that I can see the caution signs reflecting around the bend before I even get to the curve!
