I will be picking up a 2014 STX in the sunset metallic tonight. I got the sport package on mine. I agree with your mod list. I think window tint, FX4 lights, and PTM handles will really turn it into a sharp truck.

Nice! Post up a pic of it. I liked the sports pkg but didn't want to wait 2 months for my dealership to get one up here and they already had this one. The main two things I really liked were the grill and the center console...but I can add the center console. I personally like the FX style wheels more than the sport ones..but that's just me.

So anyone have any suggestions for easy cheap/free mods that they did and liked. I know there is a thread of 50 and under but I'm looking for like 20 and under. Other half doesn't want me to spend much if anything right now but I have the itch.. Lol

Dome and map light LED swap is cheap and easy. It's been my first mod in my past two trucks.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, guess I just needed reassurance lol. I did so much to my 08 that I than took off and changed it was a huge waste of money so I am VERY cautious on this one. Have to make sure I only put on or change something I will like and keep.

Okay, I need input from ANYONE and EVERYONE who even opens this. I really can't decide. I plan on replacing the OEM mirrors with heated and turn signal. I am stuck between tow mirrors or standard with the convex corners. Either set of mirrors would be from 1Aauto as they have good prices, there is NO way I'm shelling out the the price for OEM ones. I don't care for power fold or extend, I mean I drive and STX.

So my question is what do you think would look better?

Standard:

or

Tow:
http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Mirrors/For...9/2013#reviews

Thank you for the input.

Also I should add that on either set I will PTM the cap.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I don't tow much at all, but I do own a 25' car hauler flat trailer that I use sometimes in the summer to load my quads on.

I almost put tow mirrors on my '13. I like the look, personally. The only reason I decided against it was because I wanted to retain the power fold feature. So my vote would be for the tow mirrors.

Me too! I have never purchased vehicle because of the color, and while I didn't motivate this purchase it is what got me to look at the truck.

So I was reading on here and came across people taking out the rear blocks to 'level' the truck by dropping the rear. I think I like the idea as I'm not super tall, 5'9-10" ish and I find it kind of hard to reach over the side of the bed currently. Any draw backs to this? Is it really just as easy as removing the block? Seems too easy lol.
